
Mutual Divorce Documents
In order to initiate a Mutual Divorce case in the Family Court, you’ll need to provide identification and address proof for both the husband and wife. Additionally, you’ll require proof of marriage, which can vary based on how the marriage occurred. This may include documents like a Marriage Invitation Card, Marriage Photo, or a Marriage Certificate.
ID Address Proof
Any Govt. ID address proof is accepted. Examples:
- Adhaar Card
- Driving License
- Passport
- Voter ID
- Ration Card
Invitation card & photo
If the marriage was solemnized in a banquet hall, then one original Marriage Invitation Card or one original Marriage Photo is needed.
Marriage photo should have faces of husband and wife.
Marriage Certificate
- If marriage was solemnized at a religious place then marriage certificate issued by that religious body is needed.
- If marriage was solemnized at a Marriage Office of any state Govt., then the Marriage Certificate issued by that Govt. body is needed.
